These are a couple of coats that I had bought a few years back before she was even a twinkle in her mother's eye.  As you can see, she grew too quickly for winter.

So I have been a bit lax in my postings.  So, for the next couple of days I am going to post Saber in costumes.  This one was her actual Halloween costume.

So, Saturday morning we woke up and the eye lid above Saber's left eye was swollen.  By 9:15 am we took her to the vet.  Got some ointment; thought it was done.  By noon, her other eye lid swelled up.  Called the vet as they were about to close, and they told us to give her benadryl (sp?)  .  We gave her that and the swelling went away.  Cue dinner time, about six or so, Saber comes out of her crate with this face.  Cue emergency vet.  Also, cue belly hives.  A shot later and more benadryl and she is normal. It looks like there was a bug bite on her belly.  Does anyone know what kind of bug bite could elicit such a reaction?

Different dog park = swimming

So this weekend we checked out Warner Dog Park.

The easy access beach made it so Saber actually swims

WITHOUT ME AS A LURE!

She had a great time with various dogs at the park

and an ickle chocolate lab puppy!  

There was this random dog at the park that LITTERALLY 

LOOKED LIKE A CORGI ON STILTS!

 No idea what breed though.
